Current Child Support Guidelines: Court Rules, Worksheets and Tables

Pursuant to the Federal Family Support Act of 1988, each state must maintain uniform child support guidelines and criteria, and review the guidelines and criteria at least once every four years. The Iowa Supreme Court, with the assistance of advisory committees, regularly reviews and adjusts the guidelines to address the increasingly complex economic and societal issues facing families. The most recent review was in 2008.  Read the final report and economic data (May 2008) used in the review.
